Rinspeed Dock + Go concept car (2012) - a more practical Smart

And over on the Rinspeed stand at the 2012 Geneva motor show, you can expect to see the new Rinspeed Dock + Go, a Smart Fortwo with a new mobility concept. It adds a bespoke trailer to the Smart city car, letting customers drive into town two-up in the regular Smart, or go on a longer journey to the seaside with all the clobber (for two, no families allowed – unless the children can be flatpacked into the boot) stuffed into the trailer. Renault Alpine A110-50

As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.

2010 Mopar Challenger revealed!

Dodge and Mopar are teaming to create a limited-edition Challenger for 2010 that wears triple black with popping blue stripes and has a goosed Hemi under the hood. The Mopar Challenger will be revealed later this month at the Chrysler museum near Detroit and at the NHRA’s Mile-High Nationals in Colorado, but pictures were released and specs were announced on Wednesday. This new muscle coupe arrives in dealers next month and will be limited to just 500 copies.
